The Canadian Screen Awards (CSA)annually celebrate artistic and technical achievements in Canadian film, television, and digital media productions. Awards are presented by the esteemed Academy of Canadian Cinema & Television and are a coveted recognition of exceptional talent and dedication to filmmaking in Canada. This year, Ryan Reynolds will be feted with the body’s Humanitarian Award, Schitt’s Creek star Catherine O’Hara will receive the Academy Icon Award, and Simu Liu will pick up the Radius Award. Nominations were unveiled on February 22, 2023.

The 2023 Canadian Screen Awards will be broadcast on April 16, following a week of awards presentations at the Meridian Hall in Toronto.
