2024 Canadian Screen Awards: Winners Revealed
June 3, 2024 Jun. 3, 2024The Academy of Canadian Cinema & Television announced the winners of their prestigious awards for 2024 on June 1st. Company 3 is delighted to have provided top-notch postproduction services for five winning titles.
David Cronenberg’s class warfare thriller Infinity Pool won the Achievement in Visual Effects award; postproduction was completed at Company 3 Toronto. Meanwhile, the Crave-hosted coming-of-age story Bria Mack Gets a Life, which features color grade by Senior Colorist Dave Muscat, was awarded Best Comedy Series.
The popular series Letterkenny and Shoresy, also graded by Senior Colorist Dave Muscat, took home the Best Ensemble Performance – Comedy and Best Stunt Coordination awards, respectively.
The Golden Screen Award annually recognizes the Canadian film that grossed the highest in the domestic box office. Paw Patrol: The Mighty Movie, graded by Senior Colorist Bill Ferwerda, was this year’s recipient, grossing over $7.7 million in Canadian box office sales and surpassing $200 million globally.
The Academy of Canadian Cinema & Television celebrates the best in Canadian film, television, and digital media with their annual Canadian Screen Awards (CSAs). These awards recognize outstanding artistic and technical achievements, making them a highly sought-after honor in the Canadian film industry.
