January 24, 2024 Jan. 24, 2024The nominations for the 2024 Oscars were unveiled Tuesday morning live from the Film Academy’s Samuel Goldwyn Theater, honoring cinematic achievements for films released in 2023. We are proud to have contributed post-production services to eight of this year’s biggest films.
Poor Things, colored by Senior Colorist Greg Fisher , leads our list of spotlighted projects with 11 nominations, followed by Killers of the Flower Moon with 10 and Barbie with 8, both graded by Senior Colorist Yvan Lucas. They will compete for best picture along with Maestro and Past Lives, graded by Senior Colorists Stefan Sonnenfeld and Tom Poole.
Lily Gladstone, who starred in Martin Scorsese’s Killers of the Flower Moon, made history by becoming the first Native American nominated for Lead Actress. Meanwhile, Scorsese has been nominated for Best Director for the 10th time, making him the most nominated living director.
Congratulations to all the nominees and their teams! We applaud their remarkable collaboration and artistic brilliance that brought these projects to life.
