2024 Tribeca Festival Wrapped

June 18, 2024 Jun. 18, 2024

The 2024 Tribeca Festival has wrapped up, and we’re pleased to announce that two Company 3 projects received special recognition. Over the years, the festival has earned a reputation for curating a lineup of exceptional films, and this year was no exception.

Throughout the festival, New Yorkers voted for their favorite films at eligible screenings, and Checkpoint Zoo won second place at the Audience Awards for the Documentary category! Set against the Ukraine war, Checkpoint Zoo offers a fresh perspective on the unintended victims of human conflict. Through the eyes of trapped animals, the film examines the heartbreaking consequences of war and celebrates the bravery and compassion of those who saved them. The documentary, graded by Senior Colorist Nick Metcalf, features gripping interviews and powerful footage that sheds light on an often overlooked aspect of the conflict.

Meanwhile, Leading Man, directed by Whitney Houser and Amanda Michaels, won the Most Moving Narrative award, which recognizes radically human storytelling as having the power to create change. The short film, graded by Colorist Emily Bailey, is one of only seven films selected to premiere at the inaugural Moving the Spotlight ceremony and was one of only three to receive an award.

Congratulations to our clients and all the creatives behind these incredible films!
