Supplier Diversity at Company 3 / Method Inc.
At Company 3 / Method Inc., we firmly believe that creativity has diversity at its core, and that belief extends to the vendors and suppliers who we engage with. Through our Supplier Diversity Program, we aim to build relationships with suppliers, who reflect the rich diversity of the communities where we and our clients call home.
Program Goals
By intentionally creating relationships with small and minority-owned businesses, the Company 3 / Method Inc. Supplier Diversity Program strives to help break down barriers to market access.
Through investing in small and minority-owned businesses, we intend to contribute to the economic growth and sustainability of the diverse communities where we do business.
By introducing new products, services, and solutions into our supply chain, the program strives to promote creativity and innovation.
Diverse Supplier Definitions
We accept the following definitions for diverse suppliers and require diverse business certification from a national, state or locally-recognized third party certification agency. Listed below are certifying agencies that we recognize. Certifications from all other agencies, or diverse businesses which do not have certification, will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Disability-Owned Business Enterprise (DOBE)
People with disabilities own, operate and control at least 51% of the company. We accept certifications from the below organizations. We may request additional documentation to verify DOBE status for businesses outside the United States.
Veteran-Owned or Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business
Veterans or Service-disabled veterans own, operate and control at least 51% of the company. We accept certifications from the organizations listed below. We may request additional documentation to verify veteran or service-disabled veteran-owned business status for businesses outside the United States.
Minority group members own, operate and control at least 51% of the company. Definitions for minority groups vary by location and include the following categories, where applicable: Asian, Black/African American, Latinx/Hispanic, Native American/Alaskan Native, Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander, and Indigenous people. We accept certifications from the following organizations:
Definitions for Small Businesses vary by location. We accept certifications from the organizations listed below. Where certifications are not available, we follow local government guidelines and may request additional documentation to verify SB status.
Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Business Enterprise (LGBTBE)
LGBT individuals own, operate and control at least 51% of the company. We accept certifications from the organization listed below. We may request additional documentation to verify LGBTBE status for businesses outside the United States.
Our company is always exploring ways to partner with businesses who can contribute to our creative and innovative vision. We invite you to review the types of goods and services we look for from suppliers.
If you are eligible and interested in joining our network of diverse suppliers, please complete the prospective supplier form found below and e-mail it to supplierdiversity@company3.com along with a current copy of your diverse business certification from a recognized agency and/or self-certification document.
Submission of a prospective supplier form is for informational purposes and is not a guarantee of business, nor does it ensure “Approved” supplier status. Once we have reviewed your submission, we will be in touch if there are relevant opportunities for your business. Please keep in mind that there may not currently be a need for your products/services, or we may be under contract with another supplier at present. We will maintain your information for future consideration.
