The AFI (American Film Institute) festival kicks off tomorrow, running until October 29th, and it promises an extraordinary lineup of innovative and artistically excellent films. One of the highly anticipated releases is Sam Esmail’s apocalyptic thriller Leave the World Behind, featuring Academy Award winners Julia Roberts and Mahershala Ali.

And that’s just the tip of the iceberg. The festival boasts a host of other standout films, including Bradley Cooper’s Maestro, Jeff Nichols’s The Bikeriders, and Ellen Kuras’ Lee.
