Six Company 3 Projects Earn BIFA Nominations
November 3, 2023 Nov. 3, 2023The British Independent Film Awards (BIFA) revealed nominations for their 2023 award show yesterday. The ceremony, set to take place on December 3rd, will honor the best in independent cinema.
Across various categories, Company 3 had the privilege to provide post-production services to six nominated films, including All of Us Strangers, Femme, and How to Have Sex, color-graded by Senior Colorist Joseph Bicknell, which received nominations for Best British Independent Film and Past Lives, color-graded by Senior Colorist Tom Poole, nominated for Best International Independent Film.
Emma D’Arcy, best known for her role as Rhaenyra Targaryen in HBO’s House of the Dragon, has joined forces with director Thomas May Bailey to create a short film called The Talent, color-graded by Bicknell and nominated for Best British Short Film.
Furthermore, Name Me Lawand, color-graded by Senior Colorist Matthieu Toullet, is in the running for the Raindance Maverick Award, which recognizes bold, creative, and risk-taking filmmakers.
