2024 Canadian Screen Awards: Nominations Revealed
March 7, 2024 Mar. 7, 2024Yesterday, The Academy of Canadian Cinema & Television unveiled nominations for their highly anticipated 2024 awards show.
It was a moment of celebration as David Cronenberg’s Infinity Pool secured an impressive 11 nominations, including Best Motion Picture. Post-production for the film was completed at Company 3 Toronto.
Other highlights include both Bria Mack Gets a Life and Letterkenny, which earned five nominations each, including Best Comedy Series. Senior Colorist Dave Muscat graded both of these hit shows. Additionally, Apple TV’s Snoopy Presents: One-of-a-Kind-Marcie received a nomination for Best Animated Series, with Senior Colorist Anne Boyle providing the color grade.
On a special note, Bernard Gariépy and J.R. Fountain received a sound mixing nomination for their work on Paw Patrol: The Mighty Movie, which was graded by Senior Colorist Bill Ferwerda. The film’s picture and sound post services for this film were completed at Company 3 Toronto.
