The 2024 film Lee tells the story of Lee Miller, an American photographer played by Kate Winslet, who became an acclaimed war correspondent for Vogue magazine during World War II. Directed by Ellen Kuras, shot by Pawel Edelman, and featuring color grade led by Company 3 Senior Colorist Jean-Clément Soret, the film has been praised by many, with Empire saying, “Lee is handsomely made, [a] moving biopic of a subject which deserves to be honored.”

To mark the films release, Jean-Clément spoke with Televisual about his time on the project and process to grading the film. He recalls, “Ellen and Pawel were a joy to work with, and I see Lee as one of the best experiences of my career. I shared the project with Yoomin Lee, another trusted Senior Colorist who regularly collaborates with me. I can’t thank her enough for ensuring it was finished to the highest standard possible.”
