Nick Metcalf joined Company 3 at the start of 2022 following a highly successful tenure at The Mill, where he brought his unique artistic sensibilities to an impressive number of top national and international campaigns for brands such as Polo Ralph Lauren, Estee Lauder, Harley Davidson and Cadillac. He has collaborated with highly-respected filmmakers including Wally Pfister, ASC; Michel Gondry; Diego Contreras, Gordon Von Steiner and the Hudson Dusters.

Metcalf grew up in Ohio and was fascinated in all facets of photography all his life. He built his first darkroom at age 11. After moving to New York to receive his BFA in photography from the School of Visual Arts, he went on to establish himself as a leading printer of fine art photographs. Equally skilled in the technical aspects of image creation, Metcalf also worked for several years on set for many top-tier cinematographers before turning his attention fulltime to color grading.
