Sam Daley joined Company 3 in early 2020, following a year and a half working under the Deluxe NY banner. An in-demand artist, he has graded such high-profile series as the award-winning Succession and both The Deuce and Show Me a Hero for David Simon (The Wire); the latter earned Daley an HPA (Hollywood Professional Alliance) award nomination in 2016. In addition to his impressive lineup of episodic work, Daley has graded many highly-regarded features including the Tom Hanks Fred Rogers biopic, A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood, the innovative Sorry to Bother You and the lauded The Florida Project, to name a few. Prior to joining Deluxe, Daley spent over a decade working at Technicolor, PostWorks and the combined entity, where he started coloring dailies and quickly moved onto handling final color for a great many major shows.
Growing up in Northeastern Pennsylvania, Daley spent his youth shooting Super-8 movies, performing in local theatre, immersed himself in the local AV Club and generally gravitating towards the visual arts. He graduated from the University of Miami where he studied Film and Video, managed the camera department, and ultimately worked in many facets of production and post.
