Thomas Lambert joined Company 3 in January 2022 as a Finishing Editor. Here, he plays a crucial role in the final stages of film production. He meticulously assembles all the creative elements – picture edits, color grading, visual effects, and titles – to create the director’s vision. His keen eye for detail ensures a flawless final product, catching any inconsistencies that might have slipped through the cracks.

His passion for film began early, fueled by childhood experiences like filming skate videos and the awe-inspiring special effects of Terminator 2. He translated this passion into a career in the industry, starting at Films at 59 in 2019. There, he honed his skills, progressing from technical support to conform editor, working closely with online editors and colorists on prestigious projects like Pre-historic Planet (BBC/Apple TV+) and The Last Bus (Netflix).

Beyond the technical expertise, Thomas thrives on the creative problem-solving aspect. He enjoys finding ingenious solutions for shots that might require subtle VFX tweaks or fixes in the final color grading process. When explaining his work to those unfamiliar with the industry, he often describes it as the last line of defense, ensuring the director’s vision is delivered flawlessly to the audience. In his free time, Thomas enjoys escaping to the mountains for hikes, seeking solace in the beauty of nature – a stark contrast to the fast-paced world of filmmaking.
