Yoon Hee Hwang began her career in post when she joined Company 3 Vancouver (then Encore) as a Dailies Operator in 2016. She advanced to Assistant Supervisor in the Dailies department and then moved to Editorial as a Junior Editor, progressing to her current role as Finishing Editor.

Hwang’s recent work includes Neon’s horror film Longlegs, starring Nicolas Cage; Hulu’s true crime miniseries Under the Bridge, featuring Oscar-nominated Lily Gladstone; and AMC’s star-studded post-apocalyptic dystopian thriller series Snowpiercer.

Hwang has loved watching movies and TV since she was young, and her interests led her to pursue an undergraduate degree in Film and Media from Queen’s University. During that time, she realized that her passion was in postproduction. Her technical knowledge of dailies framing and processing concerning various original camera media and lens formats used on set has helped form a strong foundation for Hwang’s work as Finishing Editor. From conform to delivery, she truly enjoys all aspects of her job but particularly appreciates working on projects with many great and talented people.
