Tim Masick, Senior Colorist at Company 3, speaks with NAB Amplify about collaborating with Florian Hoffmeister and Todd Field to add the final grade to Tár. The article deep dives into the relationship between dp, director and colorist, how he created the ‘untouched look for Tár and much more. 

Speaking on the grade, Tim comments, “We added quite a lot of subtle changes to the work Florian captured so beautifully. We went through every shot to add a small amount of shading here, a Power Window there to bring out certain elements of the frame.”
