Company 3 is proud to have partnered with Picturehouse Cinemas for their inaugural Picturehouse Create festival, held in London at Picturehouse Central from April 3rd to 5th, 2025. This exciting new industry event aims to inspire and connect creatives across all aspects of filmmaking, and we were delighted to play a part in its success.

A key festival element was its short film competition, which was open to pass holders and judged by experts from Picturehouse Entertainment and the Picturehouse Cinemas programming team. Eight talented finalists were selected to screen their shorts to the public and industry attendees.

We were thrilled to offer a prize to the winner of the jury prize: $10,000 worth of post-production services at Company 3. This commitment reflects our ongoing dedication to supporting emerging talent and providing filmmakers with the necessary resources to bring their visions to life.

The lucky recipient of this prize was Myles Wheeler for his film, hi from a mayfly. We look forward to working with Myles and helping him elevate his impressive portfolio through our post-production expertise.

Clare Binns, MD of Picturehouse, shared her enthusiasm for the partnership, “We were so delighted to partner with Company 3 for our first ever Picturehouse Create Festival. Their willingness to jump into this new exciting festival and offer meaningful support to our first-ever short film competition was fantastic. Their prize of $10,000 in post-production services made the competition something special, as the lucky winner- Myles Wheeler of hi from a mayfly, will testify he was thrilled at the opportunity that Company 3 made possible. Picturehouse Create was an exciting and meaningful event bringing film creatives from every part of the industry together, and Company 3 helped make it the successful festival we had always hoped it would be.”

Picturehouse Create was a vibrant hub for the creative community, offering screenings, masterclasses, panel discussions, and networking opportunities. It connected individuals with diverse backgrounds and experience levels with professionals in film distribution, finance, production, and exhibition.

Congratulations once again to Myles on his well-deserved win, and we look forward to seeing the incredible work that will emerge from this exciting new platform in the years to come. You can find out more about the festival here.
