The 14th Annual Canadian Cinema Editor (CCE) Awards winners were announced at this year’s ceremony on Friday, June 14, 2024, at the Delta Hotel in Toronto, Ontario, and hosted by comedian Elvira Kurt. We are delighted that Apple’s horror-fantasy series, The Changeling (Episode 107—’Stormy Weather’), has won the Best Editing in a TV Drama award. The series, graded by Senior Colorists Tom Poole and Bill Ferwerda and sound by Senior Re-Recording Mixer Chris Cooke and Re-Recording Mixer Mark Zsifkovits, was created by Kelly Marcel and directed by Melina Matsoukas and is based on the novel of the same name by Victor LaValle for Apple TV+.

The CCE Awards recognize the best editing talent in Canadian film and television. Awarded annually by the Canadian Cinema Editors, these awards celebrate outstanding achievements in editing that bring Canadian stories to life on the big and small screen.
