Die Hypnose is a film which explores the deep subconscious, shining a light on one’s mind both during a hypnotic psychological journey as well as how auto-enthusiasts feel driving their dream car, creating a visceral feeling by blending creative visuals with the sounds from within the mind during a hypnosis session.
Henrik wanted to create something different and distinctive, take a fresh approach to the creative challenge of filming an automobile in a new and uniquely captivating manner. He wanted to create, he wanted to shoot - but he did not want to deliver a film like a lot of other people were putting together during this once in a hundred year event.
A small team was banded together and over two nights in May 2020, under-the-cover-of-darkness, Die Hypnose was shot - a dream car in a hypnotic state. Die Hypnose was filmed exclusively on the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6K and a tight selection of lenses. The result speaks for itself - Die Hypnose is artistic, soulful and meaningful. Delivering escapism, light and hope to everyone through the rhythmic pulses of this energetic film.
Die Hypnose was co-created and co-produced by Henrik Hansen and Julian Heppekausen.
