That’s a wrap! The 43rd Vancouver International Film Festival (Sept 26 – Oct 6, 2024) welcomed enthusiastic film fans, filmmakers and industry leaders to 11 days of stellar cinema, live performances, discussions, conferences and other unique events celebrating film and film culture.

Congratulations to all the filmmakers, especially Thea Loo, for their film Inay (Mama), which was honored with the ARBUTUS Award. The award presented to the director for outstanding feature film production in British Columbia includes a prize worth $15,000 in post-production services credit provided by Company 3 and a $10,000 award presented by Creative BC.
